Ford’s (NYSE: F) Bronco Everglades, available for existing Bronco reservation holders only, takes capability to the next level with a raised intake, snorkel, an integrated front bumper mounted winch, as well as the Sasquatch kit. The Sasquatch Package boasts 17-inch carbonized gray painted alloy wheels with 35-inch mud terrain tires inside of unique squared wheel arches.
To create the special edition Bronco Everglades, designers took the off-road Bronco SUV and stripped it then laced it with high-capability features and unique design cues to create a stylish all-terrain big-body sports utility truck. Unique graphics with Everglades topography add style to the front quarter fenders as does the Urban green accents on the marine-grade vinyl seat stitching, grab handles and vents. A Carbonized Gray grille with gloss black Bronco lettering adds unique flair.
Off the grid, the new Bronco Everglades has many features that help drivers maneuver, stay afloat and operate the SUV with precision. The front and rear axles, transfer case and transmission have raised vents for going in deep water situations. The design yields up to 36 inches of water. The Bronco Everglades sports a class-exclusive signature snorkel running up the passenger side A-pillar. With raised engine intake the Bronco Everglades can perform with brawn in dust, sand, and deep water.
Additional design features include a molded-in-color hardtop, rock rails to protect the lower sills, a safari bar, rubberized washout flooring, and the same steel bash plates found on Black Diamond™ and Badlands™ Bronco models. A heavy-duty modular front bumper by Ford Performance with ZEON 10-S WARN® winch boasts 10,000-pound capability.
The new Bronco Everglades features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine with 300 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft. of torque, the most torque from a four-cylinder gas engine in its class. The engine is paired to a class-exclusive SelectShift® 10-speed automatic transmission with advanced 4×4 system and a maximum 67.8:1 crawl ratio.
