With CarBravo, the new online shopping tool featuring pre-owned inventory General Motors (NYSE: GM) has some skin in the direct to consumer market. The innovative new app allows buyers to shop the brand’s inventory as well as non-GM inventory, connect with GM’s dealer network around the country and take advantage of exclusive benefits.
CarBravo gives customers an optimal shopping experience with a larger inventory that includes vehicle history reports, standard inspections and warranty coverage, at-home test drives and home deliveries. CarBravo hopes to be a seamless online buying experience that rivals leading online retailers like Carvana.
“CarBravo will give customers more choice and access to shop significantly expanded inventories of both the dealer and a national central stock of GM used vehicles,” said Steve Carlisle, GM executive vice president and president of GM North America. “CarBravo is designed to provide customers the convenience to shop how they want, where they want – online, at the dealership or both.”
