The 2018 Chicago Auto wrapped a few weeks ago and though the weather threatened to shut out the Media Preview, we still captured some of the dopest reveals of the year from Kia, Buick, Ford, Genesis, Mercedes-Benz, and the stuntastic new Bentley truck and Roll-Royce drophead! Over 1 million square feet of exhibit space included test-drives from Jeep, Toyota, and Mazda and more than a dozen global debuts.

The 2018 Chicago Auto Show hit McCormick Place February 9-18 and even though a snow storm threatened to keep the public at home, the show still recorded healthy numbers for their 10-day run. 

 

Mercedes- Benz G-Class

On sale later this year, the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class brings luxury, first-class functionality and new advanced dynamic technology off-road for even more adventures. The new G-Class presents a new suspension system and sporty G-mode adding even more agility.

 

Hyundai Veloster

This low-key stunner is going for an all-auto P.R. assault appearing in this year big box office movies Ant Man and The Wasp. The 2019 Veloster line includes a Turbo and a Veloster N, all with the same muscular frame, exterior LED flair, and a super-efficient 4-cylinder engine. The Veloster Turbo has a turbocharged 1.6 liter with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

 

Kia Stinger

Kia is masterful at offering affordable efficiency in their sedans, SUVs and crossovers. And the 2011 GT Concept has birthed the new Stinger. With the new Stinger Kia blends their balanced performance principal with a sporty drivetrain and more resilient chassis. Read the article! 

 

Infiniti Q Inspiration 

Infiniti previews efficiency and driver-centric autonomous technology in this new concept sedan. All-new VC technology combines turbocharged gas power with the same efficiency of a hybrid or diesel power. ProPilot claims to be the next realization of autonomous technology, and act as more of a co-pilot enhancing driver capabilities. The concept will not be for sale, but give a glimpse into future Infiniti innovations.

 

Alfa Romeo Stelvio

The 2018 Stelvio ($41,995) features a bold red paintjob with 18 inch aluminum wheels, bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and tail lights, dual bright-tipped exhausts and leather-clad interior with flat-bottomed steering wheel. Inside the luxurious Stelvio is a harmonious blend of high-tech, sport and convenience features. Aston Martin DB11

Aston Martin drops a convertible DB11 for Spring 2018 that picks up where the DB9 Volante left off. The lighter more rigid DB11 Volante comes after last year’s DB11 Coupe, and is similarly built with a bonded aluminum structure. Greater levels of performance and handling accentuate the more sporting side of its character, while increased refinement, comfort and interior space make it a true grand tourer. Bentley Bentayga

Touted as the “go anywhere” SUV, the Bentayga boasts off-road tires and customizable first-class suspension to match its resilient aluminum frame. And that’s not the most stuntastic feature. Its powerful W12 engine has 600 horsepower and a top speed of 187 mph, making it the fastest SUV in the world! The new Bentayga is in a class by itself.
