The 2018 GMC Yukon Denali boasts refinements inside and under the hood.
GMC elevates the 2018 Yukon Denali lineup with styling and trim enhancements, as well as a new, advanced 10-speed automatic transmission.
“Yukon Denali has always matched style with substance, and the enhancements for 2018 advance that legacy,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global GMC. “The foundational elements of exclusive design, premium touches and uncompromising capability have made Yukon Denali an icon for nearly 20 years.”
GMC evolved the iconic Denali grille with a multidimensional look, the same cool design on the Acadia and Terrain. In addition to a more sophisticated appearance, the new signature grille has active aero shutters that close at high speeds to reduce aerodynamic drag and enhance efficiency.
The new grille is flanked by HID headlamps and LED signature lighting. Standard are 20-inch wheels and available 22-inch wheels.
The mini mansion-sized cabin features high-class leather and new Mastique Ash real wood trim.
Heated and ventilated first and heated second-row seats are available. Active Noise Cancellation keeps the interior insulated and ride tranquil in the 2018 Denali.
Yukon Denali drivers have a standard 8-inch diagonal customizable driver display with heads-up display and an 8-inch diagonal GMC Infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. An optional rear seat entertainment system includes HDMI/MHL connector, USB ports, digital headphones and device projection.
The interior also boasts three USB ports, a 110-volt outlet and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with OnStar. A wireless charger is also available along with a programmable liftgate.
Other cool features standard on the 2018 Yukon Denali include remote start and keyless entry, Teen Driver Mode, rear view camera, side blind zone alert, forward collision alert, auto high beam control, lane keep assist, lane change alert, and the infamous safety alert seat. Adaptive Cruise Control is available as is a power sunroof
The Yukon Denali’s new 10-speed automatic, paired with Yukon Denali’s 6.2L V-8 features smooth responsive shifting across a wider 7.39 gear ratio.
The 6.2L V-8 has an impressive output of 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, and features direct injection and Active Fuel Management for higher efficiency.
StabiliTrak electronic stability control, tow/haul mode, trailer sway control, auto grade braking and hill start assist are available safety features. Four-wheel-disc brakes with Duralife™ brake rotors are standard. Magnetic Ride Control in enhances the Yukon’s rear suspension for improved body motion control.
