Honda’s 2017 Accord Touring, a refreshed release is still the wonderful all-around sedan. This year’s model adds just a few more design cues inside and out.
Peep the Highlights!
LED headlights and combination taillights are standard with dual exhausts. Body-colored side sills, mirrors and decklid spoilers set off the chromed grille and door handles, the aluminum hood and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The best features are inside the Accord Touring. Fully-loaded, the perforated leather-clad chrome-trimmed cabin features remote start, wood accents, heated front seats, ice blue LED ambient lighting, and two large screens in the center stack.
The 2017 Honda Accord Touring sits all sizes comfortably in the driver seat. Headroom and legroom is great in the front but stingy in the rear. Chrome trims the shifter, steering wheel, center stack and door handles. Storage is also abundant with two cubby holes in each door, a center console, a center cubby with a chromed out door, and even a shelf created by the protruding 7-inch center touch screen.
Drivers have a cool new multi info digital display in the dash with controls on the steering wheel. The MID show helpful info like fuel range, average speed, elapsed time, oil life and vehicle settings.
My favorite Honda innovation is the center stack, with a lower 7-nch touchscreen for navigation, infotainment, climate, and vehicle settings, and an upper 8-inch Intelligent multi info display that shows a static screen with vehicle information, a compass, and media info. The top screen also houses Honda LaneWatch, the dope side view camera that activates when I hit my right turn signal. The top screen is now customizable and can either show a static screen with just the date and time or a static screen with audio info, compass and driving info – average fuel, current mpg, trip, average mpg and range.
The great part about the screens is that on the upper screen I can see my side view via the right turn signal or via the camera button, while still utilizing navigation and possibly changing the radio with the lower touch screen. Navigation will auto zoom . And I can now pause and rewind live radio.

The performance of the 2017 Accord Touring is well-balanced, as expected. The Accord’s V6 engine with 278 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque boasts direct injection and drive-by-wire throttle system. The Accord Touring also has a standard remote start.
The efficient V6 is matched to a 6-speed automatic transmission. And the Honda Accord Touring boasts a potential 25 mpg combined EPA. MacPherson strut front suspension and multilink rear suspension give the whip a cushioned ride on any surface. Active Noise Cancelation and Active Sound Control also ensures the Accord Touring’s tranquil ride.
Safety technology includes Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Honda Lane Watch, and the Collision Mitigation Braking System.
The Honda Accord Touring is on sale now with an MSRP of $35,995. And a little birdy tells me they are already working on an all-new 2018 model.
