Aston Martin with Aston Martin Racing (AMR) promises to launch race-inspired special edition whips for every core segment model, beginning with the new Rapide AMR and Vantage AMR Pro.
AMR takes Aston Martin’s road cars to new and exciting extremes with enhanced performance, sharper dynamics and more powerful design language.
The Rapide AMR is a decked-out rendering of the infamous four-door sports car with chassis and powertrain upgrades. Motivated by AMR’s V8 Vantage GTE, the Vantage AMR Pro illustrates a ‘Track to Tarmac’ philosophy.
Development of all AMR Pro models are be led by Q by Aston Martin Advanced Operations whose recent projects including the Vantage GT12, Vantage GT8 and Aston Martin Vulcan.
The Rapide AMR, limited to only about 210 special edition production whips, is a carbon-fiber pristine road racing machine with a 6.0 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. The 4-door comes in a Stirling Green paint with lime green racing stripe and 21 inch shoes.
A chromed-out grille and side sills give the Rapide AMR fresh new flair. Also cool is the carbon fiber front spitter, quad exhausts, rear diffuser and ‘aero flip’ on the rear decklid with a lime green stripe.
The V12 has an output of 591 horsepower and a top speed of 210 mph.
Inside, lightweight carbon fiber front seats are trimmed in dark knight Alcantara with lime green accents.
Vantage AMR Pro
The Vantage AMR Pro is an extreme race car with lavish high-performance perks and a souped-up chassis. Powered by a 499 horsepower V8 from the GT4 race engine, the Vantage AMR Pro is the most powerful V8 Vantage ever.
Race-spec adjustable suspension with competition engine and transmission mounts give the Vantage AMR Pro surreal handling precision and exceptional levels of grip and traction.
The Vantage AMR Pro’s performance is matched by authentic motorsport styling. The Vantage AMR Pro features the Stirling Green paint job with lime green accents from Aston Martin Racing’s V8 Vantage GTE racer and new 19 in x 9.5 in front and 19 in x 11.5 in rear center lock wheels and Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires.
The Vantage AMR also features a bold new front grille, specially designed front bumper, a new front valance and splitter, front fenders, sill appliqués and a revised rear diffuser.
The racing theme continues inside, with dark knight Alcantara upholstery, lime green accents, carbon fiber trim and a custom roll cage.
The Vantage AMR will be limited to just 7 production cars.
