The 2017 Maserati Quattraporte now has an opulent GranLusso and athletic GranSport trims for its revised superior sedan.
On sale this summer in the UK, the new Maserati Quattraporte will boast two distinctive trims as an upgrade for all Quattroporte V6 powertrain versions (Quattroporte Diesel and Quattroporte S). Both trims will be priced at the same level across the range.
The top-of-the-line Quattroporte GTS, will be available exclusively with either the GranLusso or GranSport trims as part of the standard equipment.
The exterior of the restyled Quattroporte features a new bumper design with matte black profile at the front and the matte black extractor at the rear. The front grille is more pointed and imposing, and it introduces new vertical chrome elements that contrast with the deepness of the shark nose effect.
The new Quattroporte has these cool matte black side skirts and an electrically adjustable Air Shutter in the front grille between the air vents and the engine’s radiator. The Air Shutter provides optimal control of the engine’s fluid temperature and, together with the optimization of the new front and rear bumpers, air conveyor and flat bottom, improves the aerodynamic drag of the car by 10%.
Though it’s hard not to be a big fan of the Quattraporte, Maserati has long needed to inject new blood into its limited lineup. The Ghibli was a great start at reaching a wider audience. While Maserati represents the perfect blend of luxury and sportiness it’s great to see them stepping up their game and adding premium luxury and a cleaner powertrain to its sexy whips.
The inside of all of the Quattraporte whips are now ultra-luxurious with a sporty edge. Beautifully contrasted colors blend with stitching, wood and aluminum trim and a sophisticated tech layout.
The center stack has an 8.4 inch high resolution touch screen with climate control and a cool drawer below making the area cleaner and stylish.
