Lincoln teams with the NPHC’s nine African American Greek Letter organizations to bring first drive events to seven cities. The Divine Nine Driven to Give program will hold drive events for fans to test new Lincoln whips and help to win up to $6,000 for the charity of their choice.
The Divine Nine consists of nine historical African-American Greek Letter Organizations: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.; and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. Organizations will hold one-day charity events in the area they choose. Each Divine Nine organization will team with local dealerships to perform as many test drives as they can; 200 test drives = $6,000 ($30/ test drive) for their charities. The organization that completes the most test drives will receive $5,000 for their local chapter and a $20,000 contribution to their national organization.
The Divine Nine Driven to Give Program is an extension of Lincoln’s National Driven to Give Program, an initiative that helps charities raise funds to benefit local communities.
The Greek Influencer Initiative will kick off August 16, in Dallas and Detroit, with a one-day test drive event. Events will later be held in Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Miami, and Washington D.C.
