The 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S is so fresh, it’s stuntin on the base Panamera. Packed with top-notch sport features for extreme handling, the turbo sedan adds a little space inside and a shitload of acronyms under the hood.

The 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S is a 570 horsepower beast- street legal, hot lap ready. The sexy exterior is business as usual, now with 20” wheels. Exclusive to the Panamera Turbo S is the cool Palladium Metallic Exterior and the 4-way rear spoiler. For 2014 the S Executive package is available that increases rear comfort with added space, storage, and special ambient lighting. How can I hit 192 mph on the dash at 5,000 rpms and 553 lb-ft of torque with someone in the back trying to conduct business? Luckily, the S Executive package also has noise insulating windows. But then the optional Sport Exhaust System my override the insulation when it directs the 4.8 liter twin-turbo engine growl directly into the cabin.

The 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S comes with a ton of Porsche’s standard features like Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM.) As part of the PASM, 3 settings can be chosen to suit driving styles; Comfort, Sport, and Sport +. The PASM works with the PDCC and air suspension to customize thrilling or easy riding. Comfort mode creates relaxed driving on all surfaces and Sport and Sport + mode activate tighter steering with greater traction and agility.Very cool is the overboost function that increases torque from 553 lb-ft to 590 lb-ft momentarily in Sport and Sport + mode, and the launch control switch that simultaneously readies the response of the engine and the Doppelkupplung gearshift for the most powerful acceleration possible. The best being 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds. The 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S also comes with ceramic brakes and a 7-speed dual clutch PDK automatic transmission.

The Panamera Turbo S is priced at $180,000 and the S Executive $200,500. I’m not sure if all the underbody flair will make this Porsche Panamera a worthwhile buy. I’m hoping the interior will have more luxury technology than heated seats to rival high performance sedans that sell for much less.
