Bentley just rolled out a team of new premium luxury whips at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the 2014 Continental GT V8-S Coupe and Convertible, the Flying Spur, and the 2014 Mulsanne. Bentley stays on the cutting edge of high-end luxury, entertainment, and premium functionality. Now they take sports performance touring to new heights.
The Bentley Continental GT V8-S is the all-wheel-drive V8 available in Coupe and Convertible. Both have improvements like a lower stance, stiffer anti-roll bars, and chassis for sportier driving. An optional lower body styling body package adds a Beluga gloss black rear diffuser, side sills, and an aerodynamic front spitter.
Both GT V8-S models come with Bentley’s more powerful 4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 521 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. The V8-S coupe goes from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 192 mph. The convertible has a top speed of 191 mph and goes from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Both are matted to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and can go for up to 500 miles on one tank of gas. Gas mileage is decent with a 28 mpg combined EPA thanks to variable displacement- when the GT V8- S runs on 4 cylinders at cruise speeds. A turbocharger package adds efficiency.
The Bentley Continental GT V8-S models handle like Lebron on the road with upgraded Continuous Damping Control, agile multi-link self-leveling suspension, and all-wheel-drive with Torsen differential. Welcome to thrill touring.
The Bentley GT V8- S Coup and Convertible is available in 17 colors inside and out with veneer and stitching options. The Continental GT V8- S also comes with a standard 8-inch touch screen, 30g hard drive, and 20-inch wheels.
